Children's Reiki I (First Degree) Workshop

Children seem to be under a lot more pressure these days and this can lead to stress, worry, anxiety and eventually the erosion of their confidence and self-esteem.  Reiki can help your child to improve their concentration, aid relaxation, cope with school stresses, sleep better and balance their mind, body and spirit.

Course content includes:

*  One Reiki attunement.

*  A very brief history, putting Reiki into context.

*  What is Reiki, how is it used, how does it help us and what does it feel like?

*  The aura and chakras.

*  The five principles of Reiki.

*  Plenty of time for questions, practice of self-healing and making new friends.

This is a fun workshop designed to introduce children to Reiki and enable them to experience and feel it in an exciting and supportive way.  We will be doing some fun energy exercises and discovering the chakras and aura through drawing and colouring.  If the weather is sunny we will be going into the garden to practice some relaxing and calming meditations and discover 'mindfulness' through eating ice-lollies!  All children will get a chance to practice how to give themselves Reiki and will also be able to practice on a couple of very wriggly (and child friendly) puppies.  Each child is special and this is a very special and magical workshop designed to nurture their inquisitive nature and answer some of the questions that they may have been asking about their own growing spirituality.

This is a one-day workshop, running from 10.0am-4.00pm. The cost includes special certificate, a full manual covering the entire course content, all hot/cold refreshments and snacks (including ice-lollies!) for the day and on-going tutor support. The course cost is only £60.00. This course will enable children to use Reiki on themselves, their pets, plants, food and their family......if you are lucky enough!  All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (who may attend free of charge:-).

Half-day Reiki Retreat

Knowledge - Reflection – Meditation

This is a gentle day devoted to Reiki and feeding your soul, with quiet reflection on the changes and spirituality that learning and practicing Reiki has brought to your life.  There will be a ‘quiet room’ open all day solely for meditation and time for sharing Reiki treatments with friends.

There will also be ceremonies and meditations for opening and closing the day and I will also be sharing new techniques and information that I have recently brought to my own work.

This very special day is the ideal opportunity to update your Reiki skills, to practice giving, and enjoy receiving, a Reiki treatment, to tend your ‘inner and higher self’ in a supported atmosphere with like-minded friends and to have the undivided attention of an experienced Reiki Master/Teacher for a whole day.

Discover your innate ability to heal with the art of Japanese energy healing.  On this very special weekend you will primarily learn how to use Reiki on yourself, but will also be taught how to use it on your family and friends.

Course content includes:

*  One major Reiki I attunement.
*  The history of Reiki.
*  What is Reiki, how is it used and what does it feel like?
*  The five principles of Reiki.
*  Other uses for Reiki, i.e. on plants, animals and food.
*  Reiki self-healing – its importance, use of and hand positions.
*  Healing family and friends – hand positions and use of Reiki.
*  Time for practical energy exercises and giving each other a Reiki treatment.
*  The Chakras and how to balance them using Reiki.
*  Plenty of time for questions, discussion and making new friends.

This is a 2-day course, usually over a weekend, from 10.0am-5.00pm each day. The cost includes certification, a fullmanual covering the entire course content, all hot/cold refreshments for the 2 days and on-going tutor support. The course cost is only £90.00. This course will enable you to give free Reiki treatments to yourself, your family and friends.

 Reiki II (Second Degree)

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March 2010 - There is only one place left on this course.                                                                                                                                                            

This Second Degree Reiki II weekend builds upon the vibrational energy and techniques learnt in Reiki I.  Upon completion you will be qualified as a Reiki Practitioner and will be able to offer Reiki as a healing therapy to the public.

Course content includes:

*  One major Reiki II attunement
*  A review of Reiki First Degree theory.
*  How to perform a Japanese Hatsurei-ho, Reiki Shower and Reiki Sandwich.
*  Introduction to the three Reiki Second Degree symbols and practice drawing them and using them.
*  Use of the Reiki Second Degree symbols, including for healing, cleansing, protection and Reiki projects.
*  Practice dowsing using crystals and the Reiki Second Degree symbols.
*   Reiki Ted’ – practice in distance healing.
*  Practice in using Second Degree symbols in a treatment situation.
*  Plenty of time for questions, discussion and making new friends.

This is a 2-day course, usually over a weekend, from 10.0am-5.00pm each day. The cost includes certification, a full manual covering the entire course content, all hot/cold refreshments for the 2 days and on-going tutor support. The course cost is only £130.00. This course will enable you to get insurance and practice Reiki commercially on members of the public.

Reiki III (Master Degree)

Reiki Master Course - Part I - Two Day Course

Part I aims to introduce the new Reiki Master to the sacred Master Symbol, to discuss their responsibility as a Master and advance their own physical and spiritual practice with new techniques.  This course will take into account student’s prior knowledge and the itinerary can be changed accordingly to suit each individual or group.

Course content includes:

*             One major Reiki Master Attunement.

*             The responsibilities and ethics of becoming a Reiki Master.

*             The sacred symbol used by the Reiki Master, its meaning and uses.

*             The importance of aligning the use of essential oils and crystals with the chakras.

*             Practice and use of ‘Hui Yin’ Breath.

*             Practice and use of Jakikiri Joka Ho (a method for energetically cleansing and enhancing inanimate                               objects.

*             Explanation and use of the ‘Hara’, including practical exercises.

*             Practice and use of the ‘Tanden Chiryo-ho’ for removing physical, mental and emotional toxins from the

               physical and energetic bodies.

*             Explanation and use of four alternative (advanced) techniques that can be used as part of, and to enhance,                a Reiki treatment – ‘Uchi-te Chiryo-ho’, ‘Nade-te Chiryo-ho’, ‘Oshi-te Chiryo-ho’ and ‘Koki-ho’.

*             Reiki Without Physical Contact.

*             The Three Pillars of Reiki.

*             Hatsurei-ho.

*             Reiki Kanji and Mudras.

*             Time for questions and for exchanging a Reiki treatment using new Master skills.

The cost for this wonderful life-enhancing course is only £200, which will include a Reiki Master Part I Certificate, a full manual of all subjects covered throughout the course and refreshments (hot/cold drinks and snacks) on both days.  I also consider on-going support for my students to be very important and this will be discussed during the course.

Part II aims to teach the new Reiki Master how to prepare themselves and their students for the attunement process, best practices for teaching the three levels of Reiki, about the personal and professional responsibility of teaching others and will introduce two additional sacred symbols used by the Master in the attunement process. This course will take into account student’s prior knowledge and the itinerary can be changed accordingly to suit each individual or group.

Course content includes:

*             The responsibilities and ethics of teaching others.

*             Preparing yourself to teach others.

*             The sacred symbols used by the Reiki Master/Teacher, their meaning and uses.

*             Developing the Master/Student relationship.

*             How to conduct, and practice of, the Level I, Level II and Master Attunements.

*             What should be included in Level I, II and Master courses?

*             Practical considerations, such as preparing the space to teach, putting together manuals, timing your                           courses, housekeeping and laying on refreshments for your students.

*             The Healing Initiation.

*             An explanation of the Antahkarana (ancient symbol of healing) and its uses.

*             The on-going responsibility for personal and spiritual development.

*             Method for communicating with your Higher Self.

*             Method for meeting your Reiki Guide through meditation.

*             Method for meditating using Reiki to increase sensitivity and connection to source.

*             Practice and use of Violet Breath (a breathing technique which can be used with the attunement process).

*             Time for questions and practical exercises using your new Master/Teacher skills.

Information About the above Reiki Courses

• The Master Course has been split into two weekends in order to keep the cost down, and to allow students to decide for themselves whether they wish to teach or simple gain the Master energy to enhance their own Reiki practice.
• Courses will consist of no more than four students at any time.
• All Reiki courses can be booked on a one-to-one basis if desired.
• Alternative dates, including weekdays and some weekends, are available.
• All courses include reasonable on-going one-to-one, telephone and email support.
