Who is this workshop suitable for:  For beginners (or improvers) who would like to learn how meditation and visualisation works and how to use it in your everyday life to improve health and wellbeing and to aid better sleep and relaxation.

What you will learn: Meditation has been used for centuries to bring about a state of calm relaxation and thereby improve health, wellbeing, sleep and generally give a boost to all areas of your life.  On this workshop you will find out how and why meditation and visualisation works, the benefits and how to integrate them quickly and easily into your daily life.  No sitting in the lotus position is required and this workshop is especially recommended for anyone who thinks they don't have the time, space, patience or knowledge required to do any of the above!

What you will learn: ​The day will begin and end with goal setting.  In between you will be exploring how to move forward into being the best version of yourself, pinpointing and removing the obstacles that are holding you back and learning how to communicate better in all areas of your life and relationships to achieve your desired goals.  You will also be learning how to build solid foundations, change negative patterns and boost self-confidence.  By learning more about your own and other's motivations and how human beings think and work, you begin to change your own perceptions and actions to get the best out of yourself and those around you, ultimately making your life richer, easier and helping you to return to the innate power within you.  As part of this potentially life changing day you will learn some exciting tools and skills that you can take forward to use every day to help you be bolder and more dynamic in all areas of your life.  This is a practical day, aimed at giving you the practical skills, tools and techniques to take home and integrate into your everyday life. 

Mindfulness for an anxious age!

Who is this workshop suitable for:   If you have ever wanted to get started in leading a more mindful life, but didn't know how or thought that you couldn't fit it into your life, this is a wonderful day just for you.

What you will learn: ​You will not only learn what mindfulness is, how it works and how to use it, but you will also be introduced to lots of easy to use mindful  techniques for relaxation, boosting energy and calming anxiety. This day is non-religious, does not require you to buy any kit and you definately don't have to be able to sit in the lotus position!!! ​

What you will learn: This workshop is run in a safe and supported environment and is designed to gently look at why you have these feeling and how to change how you think, feel and behave to stop them controlling your life. Using elements of Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro-linguistic programming and Hypnotherapy you will be doing some theory work, encouraged and supported to take part in practical exercises and taught solid strategies and techniques for change, all helping you to move forward and away from these debilitating emotions.

Who is this workshop suitable for: Anyone who is having trouble sleeping or relaxing and would like to find out why and how to improve both.

What you will learn: Lack of sleep can make us feel anxious and stressed...and can eventually lead to confusion, physical ailments and even accidents.  On this workshop we will look at why you don't sleep, how to get better sleep and resources to help you sleep.  We will also look extensively at how to relax more effectively and you will leave this workshop with lots of solid hints, tips and techniques to achieve better sleep and more effective relaxation.   More details can be found at the bottom of this page.

Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD) Workshop

Who is this workshop suitable for: Anyone who suffers from Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD)
What is included in the cost:  A full manual of everything covered during the workshop, a certificate of attendance (suitable for submission for 6 CPD points/hours) and all reasonable follow-up support afterwards.
What will you learn: This Workshop is run in a safe and supported environment and is designed to gently look at why you have these feeling and how to change how you think, feel and behave to stop them controlling your life. Using elements of Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro-linguistic programming and Hypnotherapy you will be doing theory work (looking at traditional and new innovative ways of combating SAD, visualisation, how people in other parts of the world cope and tactics for surviving the festive season).  You will also be gently encouraged and supported to take part in practical exercises and taught solid strategies and techniques for change, including learning and using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in a targeted and specific way to combat SAD, all helping you to move forward and away from these debilitating emotions.  
Mini Foot Massage for Relaxation

Who is this workshop suitable for: 
What is included in the cost:  Handouts of everything covered during the workshop (emailed to you at the end of the workshop), a certificate of attendance (suitable for submission for 4 CPD points/hours) and all reasonable follow-up support afterwards.
What will you learn: On this fun 4-hour workshop you will find out why your feet are so important to your overall health and well-being, the principles behind Reflexology and how to carry out a 20-minute relaxing massage in the comfort of your own home.  This workshop is also suitable for people who don't like having their feet touched...I promise!  So grab someone in your household (if you can't find someone to be your model to practice on, then please feel free to grab a teddy bear or use your own feet and practice on yourself).  There will be time for your model to practice on you if you would like to swap treatments.
Note:  All you need to carry out this relaxing massage are a couple of clean hand-towels and some hand lotion.  A consultation form will be sent to you and your model prior to this workshop, just to make sure that there are no medical reasons why either of you wouldn't be able to go ahead with this massage.

What will you learn: On this fun 4-hour workshop you will find out why your hands are so important to your overall health and well-being, the principles behind Hand Reflexology and how to carry out a 30-minute (15-minutes per hand and arm) relaxing massage in the comfort of your own home.  So grab someone in your household (if you can't find someone to be your model to practice on, then please feel free to grab a teddy bear or use your own body to practice on yourself).  There will be time for your model to practice on you if you would like to swap treatments.

Additional information about your Workshop...

​1)  All practical therapy workshops will cover any anatomy and physiology, and health and safety, needed to carry out the treatment safely.  
 You will also learn the 'hands-on' practical aspects of performing the therapy, to enable you to carry it out on your family and friends safely at   home. 
2)  The above therapy workshops are all non-certified and this is reflected in the cost of the workshop.  This means that they do not give you a
 qualification and you will not be able to charge money, gain
insurance or set yourself up as a practitioner after completing the workshop, they 
are strictly for self-help and home use only. 
3)  A Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you after the workshop, please let me know if you would like this to reflect the CPD points/hours available
for your records.
